I am so pleased to announce that the Nightingale Academy Team that entered into the Transport for London (TfL) Schools Challenge 2015 have won!

Students took part in a workshop held in school where the challenge was initially set, followed by a 'Master Class' with TfL staff and then after working independently to develop their ideas, they had to submit a presentation online. This was judged and successfully made it into the top four! Students then had to attend the final on Wednesday 8th July which was held at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. The event involved their ideas being presented to approximately 100 people including a panel of high profiled guests and the Commissioner for Transport, Sir Peter Hendy. Our team really stood out - not only was their presentation amazing, but they presented themselves and answered questions from the panel of judges to a fantastically high standard. There were many compliments given on how well they had done and students were rewarded with some fantastic prizes!

Well done to James P, Molly, Oraz, Arjun and James K! You were all outstanding and have so much to offer the world of work!! Keep going - you're doing yourselves, your families and us at Nightingale Academy proud!!!
