Dear Parents and Carers,

Our Principal, Jane Willis, has been unwell for some time and has taken the difficult decision to resign from her role with the academy. Jane has written a letter to yourselves, her staff, students and governors which you will find attached to this note. The letter is self-explanatory and needs no explanation on my part. I am sure that you will join me, my fellow governors, and the whole academy staff in wishing Jane a full and speedy recovery.
