Nightingale Academy is part of the London Academies Enterprise Trust (LAET) sponsored by the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET) and the Greater London Authority (GLA) and was one of the first Mayor’s Academies in London.  We were established as an academy in 2010.

Nightingale has set high expectations. Under new leadership, the academy is improving rapidly. We are seeking to appoint Invigilators for the May/ June 2017 exam season and beyond. We presently have a group of dedicated invigilators, but we need to recruit further. We are looking for individuals who can promote a supportive atmosphere for our students so that they achieve their best.

Casual Lead Exam Invigilator: £9.76 per hour

Casual Exam Invigilator: £9.27 per hour

Contract Type: as and when needed

The successful candidate(s) will be required to implement examination procedures and ensure the proper conduct of examination candidates.

Duties will include: 

·         Assisting the set-up of examination venues 

·         Offering advice and guidance 

·         Directing students to their relevant seats 

·         Ensuring candidates do not talk once inside the examination room 

·         Check through attendance record 

·         Invigilate during exams 

·         Collecting and collating exam papers 

·         Supervising students leaving the exam venue 

·         Assisting with the packaging of exam papers
